The Immigrant Welcome Centre’s Language Instruction for Newcomers Classes (LINC) designed and painted this beautiful banner as part of the City of Campbell River’s 30th Annual Banner Project. It’s been submitted to the Campbell River Arts Council; city crews will soon install all the banners on local street poles for everyone to enjoy.
The theme this year is Year of the Garden, and a variety of hand-painted contributed banners will be displayed on the streets of Willow Point, Pier Street, Shoppers Row, St. Ann’s Road, Spirit Square and The Spit. Learn more about the banner project at https://crarts.ca/banners/.
