Please help us in spreading the word that racism and hatred have no place in our community by taking the “Different Together Pledge”. By taking the pledge and sharing it on social media we can raise awareness while encouraging others to participate.
Below are the steps you need to participate.
1. Take a picture of yourself holding or pointing to the “pledge” (included below: our Executive Director, Jim Brennan’s pledge photo as a sample and a link to the #DifferentTogether pledge graphic). Feel free to take a selfie or have someone else take the picture of you…you can be in an office/work setting or anywhere out and about showing off our beautiful community.
2. Once you have taken your photo, please do one of the following:
a) Upload it onto your Facebook and tag/mention the Immigrant Welcome Centre of North Vancouver Island

“I am pledging to uphold the Canadian values of diversity and inclusion and to oppose racism and hate in all its forms. We are stronger when we are #DIfferentTogether. I encourage you to take the pledge as well and tag the Immigrant Welcome Centre of North Vancouver Island and encourage your friends to take the pledge as well.”
b) If you do not have a Facebook account please send it to info@ImmigrantWelcome.ca and we will upload your pic/pledge directly to our IWC CR Facebook page.
