Exciting news!
In partnership with Comox Valley Community Justice Center, our Welcoming Communities Coalition will be co-hosting a Bystander Intervention Training.
The Bystander Intervention Training is a 2-part virtual training, with each session lasting 2.5 hours. Training facilitator is Tariro Murwira of the Inter-Cultural Association of Greater Victoria.
- Identify, interrupt and address racism
- Gain confidence in using de-escalation and intervention strategies
- Expand your “allyship” toolkit
When: February 1st and 8th, 2024 (Thursdays) – 10 am to 12:30 pm.
