You’re invited to our Winter Open House!

The Immigrant Welcome Centre is inviting our clients, community partners, and the public to our Winter Open Houses, hosted in
– Campbell River on Friday, December 8th from 5 PM to 8 PM at Robron Centre, 740 Robron Rd., and in
– Courtenay on Friday, December 15th from 3 PM to 6 PM at the IWC office, 407A 5th Street.

The events are family-friendly and free to attend.
We’ll have activities, games, and snacks. This event will offer the opportunity to network with other international families, to meet IWC’s new Executive Director, Shams Alibhai, and to become a member of the organization. Members are a vital part of IWC, as their support allows the organization to keep offering settlement services, English classes, and group programs. Members are also invited to the IWC General Meeting and vote for the IWC Board of Directors.

To acknowledge and celebrate their support, all new and existing members will be entered in a draw to win a prize basket filled with goodies generously donated by local businesses, which include Baba Gannouj, Tidemark Theatre, Merle Norman Cosmetics & Day Spa, Maritime Heritage Centre, Photo Tech, Museum at Campbell River, Standing Spruce, Bigfoot Donut, The Old Farm Market Courtenay, Sid Williams Theatre Society, and many more!

So, if you’re not a member already, what are you waiting for? Get your membership here: bit.ly/IWCmembership before December 17, 2023.

Attending the Open House events is free, but registration is required. Register online at https://bit.ly/IWCeventscalendar.

The staff at IWC looks forward to seeing you at the Open Houses!

We acknowledge the financial support of the Province of British Columbia
