Have your say at our Community Forums in the Comox Valley and Campbell River

Ketso workshop

Our annual Community Forums are fast approaching and we encourage you to register and save the date!

We invite you to join us as we deepen our understanding of the needs and challenges facing newcomers settling in our communities and how to make our communities more welcoming.

This year, we are excited to do things a little differently. Liz Wootton of Human Nature Development will facilitate both forums to maximize engagement and enjoyment of our events using a tool called Ketso.

Using Ketso, we will ask participants key questions and you will write your thoughts on “leaves” that will be placed on a felt tree to create clusters of ideas. Ketso ensures everyone’s voice is heard, encourages dialogue between different groups of people, and makes it easy to analyze event outcomes.

Join us for our Ketso forum where we will think about newcomer challenges such as language barriers, isolation, cultural sensitivity, and workplace inclusion.
